Malinaltepec, Gro., President Andrés Manuel López Obrador promised to open military files, including those of the 27th Infantry Battalion based in Iguala, Guerrero, as part of the investigations of the so-called war dirty.

The 27th Battalion has also been mentioned in the investigations related to the disappearance of the 43 normalistas from Ayotzinapa, whose relatives have maintained that there could be probable participation in the events (by action or omission) of soldiers from that military body on the 26th and September 27, 2014.

The Presidency of the Republic reported in a statement that López Obrador, accompanied by the Secretary of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, Jorge Arganis Díaz-Leal, yesterday supervised the progress of the Guerrero Mountain Artisan Road Paving Program.
In the company of the governor, they traveled three sections that will conclude this year, in the same number of municipalities, which are built with the labor of women and men from the region.
The three supervised sections are part of the 66 roads in 23 municipalities of the Mountain of Guerrero, which will conclude this year with an investment of one thousand 84.5 million pesos and 221.3 kilometers.
