With the participation of more than 6,000 young people, the 2022 edition of the Movida Joven was launched this Saturday, organized by the Municipality of Montevideo in the Plaza República Argentina, next to the Dique Mauá (Rambla Helénica between Ciudadela and Andes).
La Movida Joven is a multidisciplinary meeting and training event organized by the Municipality of Montevideo, which annually invites people between the ages of 14 and 35 to participate in various artistic proposals in search of encouraging their creativity through exchange and learning in collective spaces. .
This year the call reached 700 registrations, which implies the direct participation of more than 6,000 young people in 11 categories: Theater, Dance, Music, Singing, Comparsa, Photography, Illustration, Literature, Freestyle, Teenagers on stage and Audiovisual. In the opening event, the musical participation will be in charge of Dj Majo Alarcón, Soy Turista, Cumbia Club and Dj Fer Núñez.
