The 10 best startups in Mexico to work for 2022: What do they have in common?

Innovation, growth and adaptability are some of the qualities of the 10 best startups in Mexico to work for, reveals the LinkedIn Top Startups 2022 list.

In this edition, financial services and electronic commerce companies stand out, which have been able to adapt and prosper in the face of a challenging environment, such as the pandemic, when e-commerce grew by 81%, according to data from the Mexican Sales Association On-line.

The other sectors that also stand out in the list are real estate, health, transport and logistics, which have stood out for their ability to overcome uncertainty and optimize their professional growth by showing a greater commitment to attracting talent.

Paulina Martínez, Daily News Lead of LinkedIn Noticias México, highlighted that “the world of work has undergone an unprecedented transformation in recent years, which is why we want to celebrate and recognize those companies that have stood out for being more resilient than ever in the face of an economy in constant transformation, and that have captured the attention of the best talent”.

The pillars

The companies were valued according to four pillars:

  • Employability growth: increase in the workforce of at least 10 percent
  • Engagement and interaction through LinkedIn: the interaction with the startup’s profile on the social network by people who are not employees, as well as interactions with its collaborators.
  • Employment interest: the rate of people viewing and applying for jobs at the company, including paid and unpaid postings.
  • Attraction of top or higher talent: measures how many employees the startup has recruited from companies that are considered LinkedIn Top Companies, as well as the percentage of the startup’s total workforce.

“Each of the companies on this list inspire entrepreneurs to continue growing and are presented as an excellent option for professionals looking to take the next step in their careers,” said Martínez.
