Tesla made its formal entry into the Colombian marketa milestone that positions the country as the company’s 50th market worldwide and as its second destination in South America.
Tesla officially debuted in Colombia with the opening of its first experience center in Bogotá and the presentation of the models Model 3 and Model Y. The brand announced prices from $109,990,000the installation of superchargers in Bogotá and Medellín and a second center in Medellín. The first deliveries will be made between January and February 2026.

Karen Scarpetta, Tesla country manager for Colombia, highlighted that this arrival responds to the accelerated growth of electric mobility in the country.
“Colombia has one of the highest adoption rates in the region. “That motivated us to take this step and bring a complete ecosystem that transforms the way we move,” he said.

For the company, entering the Colombian market not only involves selling vehicles, but also building infrastructure, experience and a direct service model.
“Today we are celebrating the first experience center here in the Andino shopping center in Colombia, but we are also celebrating that next week, in parallel, we want to reach our first experience center in the El Tesoro shopping center in Medellín,” he said.
How much do they cost and what models?
In this first phase, Tesla presented the models Model 3 and Model Ywhich will be available in several versions with autonomy ranging from 460 to 660 kilometers. Prices will start from $109,990,000which, according to Scarpetta, seeks to open the door to more Colombian families interested in joining electric mobility.
Tesla’s arrival also includes a rollout of key infrastructure. During the event it was announced that Bogotá and Medellín will have the first supercharging stations in less than three months, which will allow a vehicle to be recharged 100% in about 20 minutes.
At the same time, in the coming days a second experience center in the El Tesoro shopping center, in Medellín.
Vehicle arrival
Scarpetta explained that the operation in Colombia will take place without intermediaries, with direct purchasedelivery centers and service centers that will begin to be enabled during 2026. The first deliveries for those who reserve their vehicle are scheduled between the end of January and February of next year.
