“We began the process of territorialization of the JPSUV teams, standardizing all the work commissions of our largest party, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), to go to the UBCh, the communities and the streets, and consolidate the revolutionary processes of ideological, cultural, identity and belonging formation in each territory, in the town, and in this way strengthen the values that distinguish the Venezuelan youth”.

Colmenares pointed out that the objective of territorialization is to organize all the young militants of the various social movements that belong to the party, so that the Bolívar Chávez Battle Unit (UBCh) forms the party’s youth team to work articulated the entire red tent, so that in this way they assume the responsibilities as youth within the UBCh.
“It should be remembered that in August and September 2022, a historic process of renewal of the party structures was carried out, since this is the first time that partisan youth has organized territorially speaking: This means promoting the culture of territorialization , the identity of the neighborhood, the sense of belonging within the communities,” said Colmenares.

Likewise, the general secretary of the JPSUV indicated that within each UBCh there will be a person in charge of youth, a person in charge of training, as well as a person in charge of mobilization and communication and social networks.
Within the training schedule, it is contemplated to reinforce the principles through the “Antonio José de Sucre” school, with the motto “Dream, do and grow”.
“Dreaming — said Colmenares —, because we must think about the UBCh that we want, the community that we long for, and the country: the revolutionary and solid Venezuela that we want, building it with our hands, doing it daily, which will lead us to grow in formation politically, ideologically and technically in knowledge”.
One of the fundamental objectives of the territorialization is “to add more young people, summon them to militate in our political organization to participate in community organizations, in grassroots organizations,” said the leader.

I also point out that the youth of the party should be understood as the first instance of training and recruitment, taking into account the deepening of ideological aspects, which will allow permanent mobilization with clear objectives in the spaces of the youth.
Finally, Colmenares assured that “in the grassroots organization is the strength of our youth that will multiply the adherence of more young people to our revolutionary movement of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela.”
