“The first airline that will move to Terminal 2 will be Copa Airlines, then the others will join,” Dutary said.
The General Manager of Operations of Tocumen SA, Claudio Dutary, provided details on Monday about the opening of Terminal 2 of the Tocumen International Airport.
He pointed out that said terminal has had to be put into operation in phases for a couple of years. At the same time, he announced that starting at dawn on June 22, passengers from certain companies will be processed at this Terminal 2.
“The first airline that will move to Terminal 2 will be Copa Airlines, then the others will join,” Dutary said.
He added that it will receive “passengers from the street and we are going to put passengers on the street through Terminal 2. Terminal 1 continues to operate normally.”
He revealed that Terminal 2 has 20 boarding bridges and Terminal 1 (complete) has 33.
