The governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, visited the Justice Center for Women, where in an unprecedented event, she gave economic support to users of the place, so that they develop productive projects that allow them to break the chains of dependency.

“I want you to own your future, I will be your ally because there are people like me who believe in you,” she said.

Tere Jiménez, who visited this place a few weeks ago, considered it extremely necessary to give women who are trying to get ahead with the support of said institution, tools that allow them to access opportunities to be economically self-sufficient.

“Do not be afraid or sorry; there is always a new opportunity to start over. Listen to your heart, so that with strength, wisdom, and intelligence you can move forward and transform your life,” Tere Jiménez told the women who received financial support.

The governor specified that for the State Government, attention to women is a priority issue, so that in her they will always have an ally who will ensure their well-being and safety, in addition to providing them with tools that favor their personal growth, especially , that help them believe in themselves and make the best decisions for themselves and their families.

During the event, the Secretary of Economic Development, Science and Technology, Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, reported that a month after the call for the Poder Mujer program was opened, around 1,850 women who wish to start their own business have registered.

He said that by instructions from the state governor, work is being done without pause to promote the capacities of women entrepreneurs with support, training, subsidies and advice for the development of their businesses and commercial projects, as well as for them to acquire more and better professional skills. that allow them to improve their quality of life.

In her speech, the head of the Women’s Justice Center, Mabel Haro Peralta, commented that the institution she represents annually serves 15,000 women, who are provided free first-contact services, legal advice, psychological counseling, public ministry, family court and house of transition and protection, among others.

Within the framework of the Conference for the Economic Empowerment of Women that was held at the Women’s Justice Center to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the governor, Tere Jiménez, visited the exhibition of products marketed by the users of said center.

Also present at the event were the state attorney general, Jesús Figueroa Ortega; Deputy Sanjuana Martínez Meléndez, President of the Commission for Gender Equality of the Honorable State Congress; and Adela Guel Saldívar, Secretary of the Family.
