The Plenary determined in a face-to-face public session that some messages referred to programs, actions and lines of government that were intended to seek the acceptance and adhesion of the local president among the population.
The authority pointed out that some of the messages he shared on social networks were disseminated within the period prohibited by the Constitution, with which the electoral preferences of the citizenry were put at risk.
It was ordered to give sight to the Congress of Mexico City so that it imposes the corresponding sanction.
For the same reasons, the PAN denounced the Director of Citizen Participation of the Mayor’s Office, Miguel Hidalgo, and confirmed that he also engaged in government propaganda during a prohibited period, for which the Internal Control Body (OIC) was given a hearing to determine what has right corresponds.
