Falcao came to Millionaires last summer from Rayo Vallecano with a six-month contract which now the Colombian club wants to expand. The 38-year-old striker is the figure of the squad and the club is excited about the idea of him signing a new contract for one more year. However, not everything is so simple.
According to information from ‘El Tiempo’, a very significant investment is required so that staying at the club does not pose a financial problem for the former Atlético de Madrid player. Falcao hopes to close two sponsorship deals, plus his salary, to amortize the sponsorship tax and, according to the aforementioned media, that tax may be around one million dollars.
