Asphalt rehabilitation works in the area of Avenida Costanera Sur will start this Monday, November 14, so there will be a temporary closure to vehicular traffic throughout the month of November.
According to the MOPC report, the works could extend until the first week of December.
The alternative streets while the works last will be Ayolas and Juan E. O’Leary, therefore, indicative signs and flaggers will be set up to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
It is worth mentioning that the Costanera Sur registers a general progress of 55%, so it is estimated that before the end of the year the entire road infrastructure, from Cerro Lambaré to Avenida Colón, would be ready for traffic.

Construction continues on advance steadily, this time with the third and last 80-meter bridge located on the Yukyty stream, which is in its final stretch.
Avenue Costanera Sur will be 7.6 km long. It will be a double lane and will have sidewalks and a bicycle lane along the Bañado Sur, from Colón Avenue to Cerro Lambaré.
