Telethon 2025 started, an initiative that seeks to overcome the S/ 8 million raised last year in favor of child rehabilitation.
The marathon that will be held in 26 hours of live broadcast by América Televisión, TV Peru and digital platforms (September 12 and 13 ), under the motto “United is possible.”
This year, the event will expand with digital activities, such as Tiktok challenges and battles between influencers, to especially mobilize young people.
The driving will be in charge of renowned presenters such as Gisela Valcárcel, Cristian Rivero, Adolfo Aguilar and Ethel Pozo.
Music will be present with international artists such as Matisse (Mexico) and Axel (Argentina), In addition to the inspiring participation of Daniella Álvarez, former Colombian beauty queen and example of resilience after an amputation.
In addition to the television and digital transmission, events open to the public in Lima and regions will be developed, such as a Cycoton in Larcomar and the Star Party in San Martín de Porres, with the participation of sports figures and national artists.
In other regions, beneficial dinners, concerts and regional festivals will also be held. To donate, multiple channels were enabled, including mobile applications, banks, shops and the official teleton platform. The Telethon seeks to generate hope and improve the quality of life of thousands of boys and girls who require special therapies.
