Telecommunications service restored in Altos de Lídice Commune

After a deployment of 12 crews, the Venezuelan Telephone Company (CANTV) restored the service in the sectors of the Commune Altos de Lídice in Caracas.

The president of CATV, Jesús Aldana, pointed out that in this work day – eight continuous days – the request of 3,385 users was met, who received answers and guidance on plan changes, billing and new services, refers to a press release.

Similarly, during the day, modems were delivered to subscribers who presented breakdowns in their equipment.

The authorities of the company, in addition, supervised the deployment daily, in point-to-point tours, with the accompaniment of the spokespersons of each of the eight communal councils that make up the commune.

The president of CANTV pointed out that, in addition, the fixed telephony service was installed at the Infocentro, which will have eight Wi-Fi points for the benefit of the community.

«We are starting this process of transformation, of converting the Company into a Communal Cantv. And from this example, we are going to take it as a model to initially apply it throughout the La Pastora parish,” Aldana said.

It should be remembered that, last May, President Nicolás Maduro – during his visit to this commune – ordered the activation of the system 1×10 of the Good Government to strengthen public management with the direct participation of People’s Power.
