At the headquarters of the Ministry of the People’s Power of the Interior, Justice and Peace, a meeting was held between the authorities and representatives of the telecommunications companies to design protocols that strengthen the fight against cell phone theft, organized crime and illicit drug trafficking.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Telephone Company of Venezuela (CANTV), Movilnet and Digitel.
Recently, CANTV has recovered service in areas that have been affected by theft in Portuguesa state.
