Télam, Chaco TV, Radio Province of Chaco and the news agency FOCUS signed a cooperation and collaboration framework agreement on Monday “with the aim of producing and articulating content to improve journalistic quality,” said the president of the national news agency, Bernarda Llorente.
The president of Télam and the media director of the province of Chaco, Guillermina Capitanichled the signing of the agreement, which seeks to articulate and co-produce audiovisual content or any type of format between the national news agency and the Chaco public media system, made up of Chaco TV, Radio Provincia and the FOCO news agency.
In this sense, Llorente maintained that “this type of agreement is very interesting because this administration wants to give journalistic weight to what happens throughout the country“, in addition to conferring a “journalistic value that is being given to the news” through the provincial agencies.
“We believe that this agreement It will help us to have first-hand information about the Chacoas well as from other provinces and the entire region, while being able to expand the contents of Télam from other perspectives and another dimension,” Llorente said.
“This association seeks to improve journalistic quality, open agendas and above all open voices,” he added.
For his part, Capitanich celebrated the agreement and stated that he assumed the Directorate of Public Media of Chaco on September 1 of this year together with Nadia Boschgeneral manager of that organization, in pursuit of “an imprint in which we seek to federalize our content, be plural, diverse and have the same objectives as both the Télam agency and RTA (Radio y Televisión Argentina Sociedad del Estado), in addition to guaranteeing access to public information”.
In this way, he pointed out that “ten days ago we had a meeting with Bernarda to begin to articulate and be able to generate content production, where both Télam and the FOCO news agency can publish it.”
“This is part of the objective of generating and sharing material, of providing different services through the areas of competence, of producing and co-producing audiovisual, sound or any type of format content,” added Capitanich.
Finally, the official from Chaco stressed the importance of creating spaces of this type to “be able to work together for an increasingly federal Argentina.”
