A 17-year-old teenager was arrested in Apure by Cicpc agents because he allegedly committed a homicide.
The boy, nicknamed El Reibel, allegedly killed José Gregorio Hurtado (50) by hitting him with a stick, dismembered the body using a machete and threw it into a makeshift pit, according to Cicpc investigations.
Hurtado’s remains were unearthed by Cicpc agents at the Mi Querencia estate, located in Arichuna (Apure). El Reibel worked there for a month, during which time he allegedly suffered sexual abuse at the hands of Hurtado, according to what the teenager declared before the scientific police officials.
But after retiring from that job, he returned one night to find his former employer sleeping. He attacked him with a stick until he died; he subsequently dragged the body to chop it up and bury it.
The detainee was handed over to the Public Ministry.
