The Santo Domingo International Book Fair 2024 (FILSD 2024) has opened its doors, attracting students from various educational centers who have come to enjoy literature, technology and knowledge.
This event, which brings together hundreds of national and international exhibitors and authors, each year becomes a space for learning and discovery for young people who find in the fair a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of books.

In this edition, students from schools and polytechnics from various provinces shared their impressions, highlighting the quality of the pavilions, the variety of degrees and the renewed atmosphere that has improved compared to previous years. From the incorporation of advanced technology to the organization of interactive activities, the fair seems to have adapted to the new generations, offering experiences that go beyond reading and fostering a genuine interest in learning.
We interviewed students from institutions such as Jesús y María School, Santo Domingo; the María del Carmen Educational Center, de los Mameyes and the Cambita Garabitos Polytechnicfrom San Cristóbal who told how this fair has surprised and captivated them. Many highlighted the themed pavilions and improved organization, while others appreciated the interactive activities and talks on topics of youth interest.
