La Movida Tecnológica brings together research work carried out by children and teachers from public schools and private colleges throughout Cerro Largo.
In Plaza Constitución in the city of Melo, stands were installed with the different proposals in this activity promoted by the Departmental Inspection of Schools and Ceibal.
“We are seeing this Technological Movement with great joy. The institutions have presented the work they have been doing. The idea is to go a little outside the classrooms, outside the walls of the schools and show everything that Teachers do with children, how much they learn through technology, which is what we have now” expressed the Inspector Cristina Reggiardo.
“It is called Movida Tecnológica because there is also an artistic part where they will act from art and physical education. It is important to show all this. It is an instance where Teachers show, parents can see, the community and society in general see how technology has advanced and how children are experts in technologies” held.
The Inspector Hilda Cruz For his part, he recalled that since a technical-technological space was specifically incorporated into the school programs, a greater organization of work could be seen from the curricular point of view. “The teachers, apart from using technology as a tool, learned to use it from what it means, from the possibilities, from the strengths, from the weaknesses and to use it in a judicious way not only to learn things that have to do with school but also for life. The idea is to learn to intelligently use all these resources and these tools that it offers us” express.
IN ALL DEPARTMENTS
One of the Primary Education Technology Inspectors emphasized that in recent years this movement has not only been carried out in the city of Melo.
“It was already held on the 6th in Rio Branco within the framework of Rio Branco Week and tomorrow it will be held in the city of Fraile Muerto, thus giving everyone the opportunity to participate according to their possibilities and their geographical proximity.” Cruz said.
Cristina Reggiardo highlighted that in addition to the city schools, rural schools close to each of the headquarters also participate. “The idea is to decentralize, not do it only in Melo so that they do not have to travel many kilometers. It is important that it can be done in three different points. Since Inspector Marcelo Alvariza is in charge of the Departmental Inspection of Schools, he has implemented this modality that everyone has liked and that has been very good” he stated.
Teachers take advantage of the natural interest that children have in the technological area to carry out different types of work. “There are several proposals that have taken advantage of the Maicraf game to generate different learning, for example, from the social sciences, from mathematics and from the natural sciences” Hilda Cruz detailed. “This makes the child feel more attracted to what the teacher has to teach. It takes advantage of the ease that children born in this era have in using digital technology.” he pointed out.
SECOND LANGUAGES MEETING
“Today, also here in Plaza Constitución we are going to have the Meeting of Second and Foreign Languages” Cruz confirmed to THE DIARY PROFESSIONAL.
“It will be held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. with the participation of schools from across the department showing some proposals for teaching English, Portuguese and Italian because we also have the teaching of Italian in one of the schools in Cerro Largo.” reported.
