It was carried out successfully in Río Branco where students from different educational centers presented their research work linked to technology
Hundreds of children and young people from the city of Río Branco and neighboring areas participated in a new edition of the so-called Movida Tecnológica, an activity promoted by the General Directorate of Initial and Primary Education and the Departmental Inspection of Cerro Largo.
What was once the Ceibal Fair is the area where students from different educational centers present their research work linked to technology.
In this case, La Movida Tecnológica coincided with the 4th Edition of Rio Branco Week, which is why the activity had the support of the Municipal Government.
“It is a pleasure to be able to be in this instance that has been repeated year after year in Cerro Largo for quite some time” the Departmental Inspector of Schools of Cerro Largo began by saying.
“Times are changing, things are proposed and sometimes they come out the other way, and we think that this type of activities that we are adhering to as requested by the Municipality of Río Branco to the Week, to the celebrations of Río Branco that are based on artistic and cultural shows that really attract attention and where the Departmental Inspection is always attentive so that these types of proposals can come together, can be assembled” stated the Master Marcelo Alvariza.
“In this area, very important instances were also being developed at the national level because a few kilometers away, in the Laguna school, a new edition of the socio-pedagogical missions was held that also do and highlight all the work of our schools, especially the rural schools that are part of the Taiperos del Arroz group” he remarked.
The highest authority of Initial and Primary Education in Cerro Largo extended his gratitude to Mayor López for promoting all these types of actions such as the Movida Tecnológica so that the society of Rio Branco and neighboring areas can enjoy the work done by the children.
“In addition, people from Secondary School and UTU also visit us. That is very important. We have always tried to strengthen the integration between the different subsystems of education, because these children who are in our schools today will be in UTU or the Lyceum tomorrow.” Alvariza said. “Hopefully, the construction of new buildings, of new Secondary Education institutions in Río Branco will be completed in a short time and hopefully, and we are waiting for what the General Director of Initial and Primary Education who will be this Thursday in Melo can tell us, to see if there are possibilities that in a short time the School of Artistic Education in Río Branco will be completed, which for the city will be extremely important” considered the Departmental Inspector of Schools.
