The technical rehearsals of the samba schools of São Paulo enter the last week. There are 14 schools in the Special group, eight in Access 1 and 12 in Access 2. Admission is free. Tests at the Anhembi Sambadrome began on March 11th and will continue until April 2nd. The official parade takes place on April 16, 21, 22, 23 and 29.
The rehearsal schedule starts at 4:45 pm. Parade today (26), in order, Torcida Jovem, X-9 Paulistana, Acadêmicos do Tucuruvi, Vai-Vai, Barroca Zona Sul and Império de Casa Verde. Each association has 1h15 for the rehearsal.
On Sunday (27), activities take place from 18:00 to 21:45. Parade Tom Maior, Acadêmicos do Tatuapé, Dragões da Real and Rosas de Ouro.
Rehearsals will close on Friday (1), at 8:30 pm, with Acadêmicos do Tatuapé, Mocidade Unida da Mooca and Nenê de Vila Matilde; on Saturday (2), from 4:45 pm, it’s the turn of Uirapuru da Mooca, Colorado do Brás, Águia de Ouro, Mocidade Alegre, Mancha Verde and Unidos de Vila Maria.

Tickets for the 2022 samba schools parade started to be sold at the ticket office at Gate 1 of the Anhembi Sambadrome today (26). It will be open until 8 pm. The League of Samba Schools of São Paulo (Liga-SP) reported that around 30,000 tickets will be available. On the internet, the sale has been available since February 10 at Clube do Ingresso website.
The postponement of the parades, which take place outside the normal period of carnival, was due to the explosion of cases of covid-19 because of the Ômicron variant in January and February. Tickets purchased before the date change are automatically valid for April, with no need to change, just present them at the turnstiles.
Dates and values
On the 16th of April, the access group 2 parade will take place, starting at 20:00. On April 21, the samba schools of the Acesso group parade at 8 pm. On the 22nd and 23rd, it will be the turn of the 14 associations of the Special Group. On the 29th, the following Friday, it will be the Parade of Champions, which closes Carnival SP 2022.
The ticket prices for the grandstand vary according to the parade days and sectors. On April 16th, for example, when the Access 2 schools pass through the avenue, the price is R$ 10. On April 21, the price is R$ 50. On the days of the Special Group, tickets cost between R$90 and R$190. For the day of the champions, they range from R$70 to R$90.
About 40% of the tickets are intended for half-price tickets for students, the elderly, people with disabilities, young people from low-income families, employees and teachers from the state and municipal schools in São Paulo.
