The Association of Teachers of the Republic (Asoprof) has agreed for this Wednesday, May 25, a national picket in support and solidarity with the province of Colón, as well as the high cost of fuel and the payment of salaries to the appointed educators.
The general secretary of the union, Fernando Ábrego, expressed that the problems of Colón are those that the entire country faces and urged the government to take precise actions regarding the increase in fuel that has been sustained for several months.
He explained that in some provinces this picketing will start at 8:00 am and in other parts of the capital city from 12:00 noon.
