Teachers receive classroom libraries with 100 books to develop strategies with students

The Technical-Teaching Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education (Meduca), Victoria Tello, spoke this Wednesday about the return to face-to-face classes starting next Monday, March 7.

He revealed that they have been preparing from the emotional point of view, training teachers above all, specifically in general terms, “we are worried, we are afraid and more so our children.”

He specified that Meduca has been preparing itself with printed material to deliver to all our children: “mathematics books, Spanish texts, social sciences, natural sciences, from first to sixth grade. Each teacher is being given a classroom library with 100 books, a variety of stories and a manual so that the teacher can develop strategies with their students”, he remarked.

He explained that there are around 15,000 students enrolled in official schools.

A “call center” will be opened for each regional address, for those parents who have not been able to enroll their children.
