The Board of Directors of the Union of Educational Training Teachers (Sidfe) requested the annulment of the document on the curricular transformation denounced for plagiarism and requested the resignation of the political authorities of the Educational Training Council (CFE) in a statement released this Monday by the night.
In the text, the union demands the annulment of the documententitled “Proposals for the Curriculum Design of Educators’ undergraduate training” for having plagiarized the Argentine Ministry of Education. This “should annul it as work material,” they argue.
They also require the resignation of the political authorities of the Education Training Council (CFE) of the body, who this Monday they recognized the error and assured that in the next versions of the document the bibliographical references “will be corrected”.
“The Education Training Teachers’ Union rejects the curricular transformation that is intended to be installed in the Education Training Council due to form and content,” says the text released by the teachers. Also they urged to denounce “the irresponsible and illegal way” by which they seek to carry out said reform.
In addition to the “lack of professional ethics” of the government authorities in plagiarizing this document, this is accompanied by the implementation of a schedule “that does not seek the real participation of those directly involved”claimed the Sidfe Board of Directors in the statement.
“The spaces for discussion and reflection proposed for teachers are ridiculous, and in fact violate the General Law of Education (Art. 70) by establishing the end of the discussion prior to the completion of the ATD [Asamblea Técnico Docente] CFE National. It is more than clear that the voices of teachers and students will not be taken into account, in a schedule that intends to close the discussion in two and a half months,” they attacked from the union.
