Santo Domingo, DR.- The Secretary General of the Magisterial movement, Juan Pablo Duarte, joined the voices that are calling for an agreement for the next four-year term of government that defines the priorities of Dominican education, the well-being of the school, and better living and working conditions for the nearly 200,000 teachers who work in public schools.
“The permanent confrontation between the MINERD and the ADP can be discussed, agreed upon and agreed upon, if there is a sincere will to contribute to the improvement of the quality of education,” said Menegildo and in turn recalled that a good test was made at the beginning of the first term of President Abinader and the management of Roberto Fulcar, which if it had not been violated by the current Minister Ángel Hernandez, peace and progress in the agreed purposes would have been guaranteed.

Menegildo De La Rosa is a candidate for Vice President of the National Executive Committee of the ADP, running alongside Miguel Ángel Fernández, candidate for the presidency of the union, and Prof. Rafael Félix, candidate for General Secretary on the N-5 ballot of the Juan Pablo Duarte for the elections of October 9 of this year.
Finally, the National Leader Menegildo De La Rosa called on the teachers to vote for Juan Pablo Duarte as a guarantor that the historical achievements of the teachers are preserved and that the union remains united and combative, to continue advancing in the improvement of the teachers’ well-being. If they reach the leadership of the union, the teachers of the Juan Pablo Duarte Current declare that they will promote a gentlemen’s agreement that is WIN-WIN for the country and the sectors involved, expressing that they are in favor of dialogue and consensus.
