Unions of teachers and civil servants, as well as some student movements, organized measures for this Tuesday

The National Federation of Secondary Education Teachers (Fenapes) calls to perform This Tuesday a strike for 24 hoursand several unions will join, he learned The Observer.
The measure includes the Association of Secondary Education Workers (ATES)to the Association of Officials of the University of Labor of Uruguay (Afutu)to the Education Training Teachers’ Union (SIDFE)the Union of Codicen Officials (CFU) and the Union of Workers of the Technological University (SITUTEC).
The student movements of the Education Training Council also adhere. Like the Federation of Uruguayan University Students (FEUU).
For its part, The Association of Teachers of the University of the Republic (ADUR) will make a partial strike starting at 5:00 p.m..
The Uruguayan Federation of Teachers of Primary Education Workers SMOKE PET will adhere to the claim but will not stop its activities.
The strike is framed in rejection of the educational reform carried out by the National Administration of Public Education (ANEP). In recent weeks there has been tension between the student movements and the education authorities due to the occupation of some study centers.
