He Constitutional Court (TC) left yesterday in a state of failure six of nine direct actions of unconstitutionality.
There is the unconstitutionality action filed by the Reserve Bank, against articles 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Law 200-04, General of Free Access to Public Information, of July 28, 2004; and Article 2.5 of Law 340-06, and its amendments, on Purchases and Contracts, of August 18, 2006, was declared in a state of failure.
Also one submitted by the judge Ysis Munoz Almonte against two resolutions of the Council of the Judiciary (CPJ), related to the Judicial Escalafón and Judicial Positions Filling systems, respectively, filed by Judge Ysis Muñiz Almonte.

In a state of failure, the unconstitutionality action against Article 30, literal d, of the General Law for the Protection of Consumer or User Rights, number 358-05, of July 26, 2005, filed by Fredermido Ferreras Díaz, José Nicacio Díaz Guzmán and Nairobis Natividad Pujols; and another against articles 99 to 138 of Law 11-92, of May 16, 1992, as well as article 55, paragraph I, of said law, modified by Law 495-06, of December 28, 2006. , Henry E. Troncoso Tejeda.
The TC also learned of the challenge made by General Adam Cáceres Silvestre, the main defendant in the Coral case, to Decrees numbers 22-21 and 499-21, dated January 13 and August 11, 2021, and gave deadlines for five days to the plaintiff and the Executive Power to deposit an extension or motivation and conclusions brief, and to the Executive Power and the Public Ministry for counter-replies.
