He Constitutional Court (TC) celebrated the seventh anniversary of its television program “The voice of the Constitutional Court” (LVTC), with the attendance of judges, constitutional servants and personalities from different sectors of society.
In a cocktail party, which was also attended by representatives of the media, magistrate José Alejandro Vargas Guerrero, general coordinator of the television space, stressed that this seventh anniversary is a propitious occasion to “strive to bring constitutional teaching to the most remote corner of this land Duarte, Sánchez and Mella, and beyond, where the Dominican diaspora spends the night”.
Vargas Guerrero explained that the program, whose ideologue is the president of the TC, magistrate Milton Ray Guevara, aired nationally for the first time on December 19, 2015, and in May 2016 it began to have a presence. international through Telemicro Internacional, reaching not only the Dominican diaspora, but also the entire Latino public based in the United States.
It is hosted by the presenters Guillermo Henríquez, Tomás Marte, Ada Reyes and the lawyers Mildren Hernández and Virginia Peña. The production team is made up of Liselotte Núñez, producer, and José Miguel García, in charge of the Audiovisual Department of the Communications Department.
Its content consists of the segments The interview, The report, Reflection to live in the Constitution, Constitutional events and Living in the Constitution. Judges also speak, Constitutional Vocabulary, Constitutional Jurisprudence and the News section.
Other segments are TC Decisions, where the sentences most far-reaching issues issued by the Constitutional Court, Citizen Opinion and Constitutional Vocabulary.
