The tax collection grew during January 51.6% in interannual terms to add one billion 171,943 million pesos, the Ministry of Economy reported on Tuesday.
In addition, this January marked “the best level of real collection for this month since 2018, prior to the start of the crisis that began in April of that year”
Social Security resources recorded a high growth rate of 64.6% year-on-year, replicating the performance of previous months.
This increase responds both to a rise of 61.2% in Personal Contributions, and 66% in Employer Contributions.
THE COLLECTION MARKED THE BEST JANUARY SINCE 2018
It was driven by the increase in taxes associated with Social Security, Income Tax and taxes linked to economic activity. It is the seventeenth consecutive month of growth in real terms. pic.twitter.com/uIMzpj0aN3
