A Task Force of the Task Force Specialized in Combating Organized Crime today (16) demolished 19 irregular commercial buildings in Rio das Pedras, on the west side of Rio de Janeiro. Among the irregular constructions, there were car washes, bars and even a shows.
The properties were built on the banks of a canal and all the sewage was released without any treatment.
The task force is made up of agents from the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro, with support from the Municipal Environment Department, Military Police, Jacarepaguá Sub-Prefecture and Comlurb.
