According to the latest report from the Ministry of Health, Tarija has 80.9 percent of its population (over 18 years of age) vaccinated with the first dose of anticovid and 72 percent with the second dose. These indexes position this department as the one with the greatest scope of immunization at the national level.

Along the same lines, follows Cochabamba with 78% with the first dose and 67.8 percent with the second dose. In third place is the department of Santa Cruz with 76 percent with the first and 66.2 percent with the second application of the biological.

With first doses, the list is followed by: Oruro 74.5 percent, Chuquisaca 73.2 percent, La Paz 71.8 percent, Beni 68.6 percent, Pando 62 percent and Potosí 59.7 percent. .

Regarding second doses, the fourth place is occupied by Chuquisaca with 65.6 percent, Oruro with 64.3 percent, La Paz with 60.2 percent, Beni with 54.5 percent, Potosí with 50.1 percent. percent and Pando with 49.5 percent.

Now, in terms of the immunization of minors between 5 and 17 years of age, it is known that Oruro is the one that stands out from the rest of the departments.

63.2 percent of its target population has already received the first dose and 47.8 percent the second. The list, in the first dose, is followed by Cochabamba with 58.1 percent, Tarija with 56.3 percent, Santa Cruz with 56.1 percent, Chuquisaca with 54.4 percent, Potosí with 46.9 percent. , La Paz with 45.8 percent, Pando with 35.9 percent and Beni with 30.4 percent.

On the second dose, to the same age group, it is known that Cochabamba is with 45.6 percent, Tarija with 43.6 percent, Chuquisaca with 43.5 percent, Santa Cruz with 41.3 percent, Potosí with 34.5 percent, La Paz with 32.6 percent, Pando with 20.8 percent and Beni with 17.2 percent.
