Tarcísio says he will allocate more resources to Santas Casas

The Republican candidate for the governorship of the state of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, defended the investment of more resources in the Santas Casas of the state. The candidate stated that, if elected, he will work with the federal government to increase transfers to health care brotherhoods. Tarcísio says he will allocate more resources to Santas Casas

“We are going to work hard on the financial health of Santas Casas, on the financial equation. This is one of the most urgent health issues here in the state of São Paulo,” he said, in São Paulo.

The candidate also said that he intends to use the maximum capacity of hospitals, to prevent patients from having to travel to distant cities to perform tests. “What we need to discuss, and what is urgent, is the closed-door emergency room policy,” he said.

“It’s no use transferring all responsibility to the federal government and you don’t do your part. Now, the state will do its part, acting in addition to the federal government by contributing money to the Santas Casas,” she added.
