The Republican candidate for the governorship of the state of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, received formal support from Podemos for the dispute in the second round of the elections. The candidate praised the implementation of the partnership between the parties.
“Not only a winning alliance, but a project that will be successful”, he said. The announcement of Podemos follows the formalizations of support for Freitas from the União Brasil and MDB parties; Governor Rodrigo Garcia and Novo’s candidate, Vinicius Poit.
Tarcísio de Freitas also highlighted again that he has worked to show the mayors of São Paulo, regardless of the party to which they belong, that no project will be discontinued.
“People live in cities and I want to manage with open doors, work with mayors, see the problems and not discontinue anything. I did this at the Ministry of Infrastructure, I carried out works by other governments and the idea is to carry out the agreements and works that are in progress”, he said.
Tarcísio’s agenda foresees, still this Thursday, his participation in a meeting with mayors of the region of Sorocaba, in the interior of São Paulo.
