Tania Ramírez and Fernando Rospigliosi will chair the Production and Constitution commissions

This Monday, August 19, the election of the boards of directors and installations of the ordinary commissions for the annual session period 2024-2025 began in the Congress of the Republic.

According to the schedule of the Committees Department, the appointment of the president, vice president and secretary of seven working groups was scheduled.

These are the Constitution and Regulations Commission; the Production, Micro and Small Enterprises and Cooperatives Commission; the Decentralization, Regionalization, Local Governments and Modernization of State Management Commission; the Andean, Amazonian and Afro-Peruvian Peoples, Environment and Ecology Commission; the National Defense, Internal Order, Alternative Development and the Fight against Drugs Commission; the Transport and Communications Commission; and the Science, Innovation and Technology Commission.

Fernando Rospigliosi, a congressman from Fuerza Popular, was elected as the president of the Constitution and Regulations Commission of Parliament for this legislative period. This board of directors will also be formed by Luis Aragón, from Acción Popular, as vice president; and Lady Camones, from Alianza Para el Progreso, in the position of secretary.

For example, debating and approving the regulations of the future chambers of deputies and senators and of the assembled Congress, where we will have to put all our efforts and consult with experts and experienced former parliamentarians to be able to carry out this task with the necessary success.“, Rospigliosi said in his speech.

They also agreed that the Constitutional Commission will meet every Tuesday starting at 10 a.m.

On the other hand, parliamentarian Tania Ramírez of Fuerza Popular was elected as head of the Production, Micro and Small Business and Cooperatives Commission for this annual session period.

Congressman Esdras Medina of the Popular Renewal Party is the vice president of this working group, and Pasión Dávila of the Magisterial Block is the new secretary.

The working group will meet on Mondays starting at 10 a.m.

Decentralization Commission

  • President: Hitler Saavedra Castronoque (We are Peru).
  • Vice President: Eduardo Castillo Rivas (Popular Force).
  • Secretary: Luis Aragón (Popular Action).

Andean Peoples Commission

  • President: Guillermo Bermejo Rojas (Together for Peru-Voices of the People).
  • Vice President: Jaime Quito Sarmiento (Socialist Bench).
  • Secretary: Isaac Mita Alanoca (Free Peru).

Transport and Communications Commission

  • Chairwoman: Marleny Portero López (Popular Action).
  • Vice President: Magaly Ruiz Rodriguez (Alliance for Progress).
  • Secretariat: Nilza Chacón Trujillo (Popular Force).

National Defense Commission

  • Chairwoman: Adriana Tudela (Avanza País).
  • Vice President: Roberto Kamiche Morante (Alliance for Progress).
  • Secretary: Jorge Montoya (Honor and Democracy).

Science Commission

  • President: Alfredo Pariona Sinche (Free Peru).
  • Vice President: Carlos Zeballos Madariaga (Popular Action).
  • Secretary: Edward Málaga (Avanza País).
