Mexico City.- The Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare of Tamaulipas today strengthened its commitment to the defense of labor rights by participating in the signing of a Coordination Agreement between the Federal STPS and the Government of the State of Tamaulipas.
The head of the state agency, Luis Gerardo Illoldi Reyes, led the representation of Tamaulipas in this important meeting, accompanied by the undersecretary of employment and labor productivity, Carolina Iveth Martínez Molano.
During the event, the head of the Decent Work Unit, Alejandro Salafranca Vázquez, representing the Federal STPS, formalized this agreement that seeks to protect the rights of workers and promote the formality of employment in the entity.
He indicated that with this signature, the STPS Tamaulipas reaffirmed its commitment to labor policies that guarantee fair, safe and dignified conditions for the working class, while promoting a more orderly and competitive labor market.
These actions are part of the humanist and transformational government headed by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya, where well-being, social justice and decent work are permanent priorities.
