Nearly 40 restaurants will offer their versions of tamales from December 13 to 15.

From December 13 to 15, the capital will host the Tamale Festival 2024a celebration that highlights the importance cultural and gastronomic of this traditional Colombian dish.
In its third edition, they will participate 29 restaurantsincluding representatives of 10 District Market Squares, six of Paloquemao and four at Expoartesaníasin Corferias.
“It will be a party where 29 restaurants from 10 District Market Squares will participate, six from Paloquemao, and we are very happy because in Corferias, at Expoartesanías, there will be four more offering this delicious traditional dish in the Colombian tent at the Table of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism”, expressed Wilfredo Grajales Rosasdirector of the Institute for Social Economy (IPES).
The event, organized with the support of the IPESaims to promote culinary tradition and local consumption. Attendees will be able to enjoy various recipes that reflect the wealth gastronomic of the country, consolidating the tamale as an essential component of Colombian breakfasts.
