His neat uniform when arriving and leaving the garden, has attracted attention.

His tenderness, how he speaks, his smile; It has triggered a ‘loving’ virality, from I love you Yanfri to ‘God bless you’, the millions of messages since it appeared.

The memes have not been lacking.

  • “We all deserve a Yanfri in our life,” is one of the phrases.
  • “Watching you walk hunched over”
  • “I vote for the one who says Yanfri”

Occurring messages with your photos and your video run through all social networks; from TikTok to YouTube and more.

The child was recorded by his uncle, when they went to the garden and when he left the garden, a few seconds were enough for the video to become the most viewed in Colombia – and it transcended borders – this week. “The most beautiful” many say.

Other videos show him with his mother, his brothers, other relatives.

His mother and uncle have already spoken in various media, they have told how Yanfri is.

‘Fears’

For some, it is an abuse with the minor that his name, the place where he lives they are filming in social networks.

They point out that it is a risk that there are so many videos of him walking, eating and other freely accessible activities, “there is no lack of bad people”, they warn.

The media and social networks are singled out for virality.

His family has not lacked criticism and even insults for “taking advantage” of the child under 3 years of age. Those who have asked the ICBF to intervene have not been lacking.

Your reality

A video of him walking with his uncle and scolding him for wearing his pants down, “is that Yanfri is very elegant” says the adult, has drawn attention beyond the jocular moment: lagunada street, with holes, dirt.

“Yanfri you put me in conflict between the tenderness that you inspire in my heart and the brutal inequality in which you grow up,” wrote @yadiracetina.

Istmina, that municipality of Chocó in which the needs are the virality of the day to day.

Isthmine

Scarce economic resources in an area rich in mining activity, natural resources, enviable geography.

One of the 31 municipalities of Chocó, there live about 25 thousand inhabitants. Quibdó is 75 kilometers away.

Where Yanfri lives, 87% is on the San Juan river basin, on the other side, the Atrato.

Made up of hamlets, townships and 2 indigenous reservations, even for the main economic activities such as fishing, agriculture, mining and commerce, they face difficulties.

Abuse?

For much, the little Chocoano today a ‘celebrity’ in social networks, is at risk of having been exposed.

Still others point out that there may be abuse by their family by allowing the disclosure of their image.

In Colombia, the use of the image of minors in advertising, legal matters, protection of their identity in risky situations is regulated.

  • “The kids, girls and adolescents have the right to personal privacy, through the protection against any arbitrary or illegal interference in his private life, that of his family, domicile and correspondence. Likewise, they will be protected against any conduct, action or circumstance that affects their dignity ”: Law 1098 of 2006, Childhood and Adolescence Code.

Yanfri is not the first child to go viral in the country due to some humorous situation, social messages, or similar scenarios that generate tenderness and that even end up receiving help and support.

In this case of Istmina, there has not been a pronouncement from the ICBF.

What many ask is that the virality and the messages of love transcend in a glance by the State and the national government, towards Itsmina and its reality.

That little Yonfri, who at 3 years of age, says thank you, please, walk as an adult because “that’s the way it is”, do not lack support, protection and serve as a starting point to help change your reality and the from other ‘yanfris’.
