The Minister of Social Development, Juan Zabaleta, maintained that “To draw or to put plans is to want the poor to remain poor” referring to the proposal of the president of the PRO, Patricia Bullrich, who spoke in favor of eliminating in six months the social assistance programs for the most neglected sectors, when presenting her government teams in an act that was attended by Mauricio Macri.

“To speak of ‘taking out or putting in’ plans is to want the poor to always be poor,” Zabaleta wrote on his official Twitter social network account.

“The president of the PRO wants to get the plans out in six months. As if they had not governed and, furthermore, they had not duplicated them,” added the official in relation to the increase in beneficiaries of this type of assistance that occurred during the Cambiemos government. Today Together for Change.

In this sense, Zabaleta reaffirmed that the Government seeks “transform plans into employment and not the retweets that feed the cracks”.

This Tuesday, within the framework of an act at the Olivos Yacht Club before the militants and leaders of the PRO, Bullrich proposed the elimination of this type of social aid: “They tell me that it is impossible to get the plans out in six months. I say, It is more impossible not to remove them because they are going to stay forever”.

“If we don’t do it with conviction, they eat our change. The pacman that exist to eat the change are installed everywhere,” said the former minister of the management of Mauricio Macri and Fernando de la Rúa.

Bullrich made her statements accompanied by Macri, in an official act at the Olivos Yacht Club, in which she announced other proposals for next year’s presidential elections.

Meanwhile, in an interview with a radio station in Corrientes, Bullrich insisted that he fought “during the four years of government” of former President Mauricio Macri, against social plans.

“I fought him. I was not in favor of the way in which the social plans were maintained”assured the former Minister of Security and recalled that in 2018 he proposed “a voluntary civic service in values, where young people learned skills to work and values and in four and six months, they were prepared for an exit.”

“Maintaining the plans generates structural poverty, we have to see different methods, generate alternatives, we cannot continue with a society that is paralyzed in a plan,” concluded the head of the PRO.
