The Mayor’s Office Bogota recently confirmed that Thursday, February 6 will be carried out the first day of the ‘Day without cars and motorcycles’ in 2025. The objective is to promote different modes of transportation and reduce the impact on the environment. However, there are some exceptions. What are they?
Precisely, There are 18 segments exceptedwhether due to its usefulness, objective or type of rolling. Below is the complete list of exceptions during the special day:
1- Electric or zero-emission vehicles, including motorcycles.
2– Transportation for people with disabilities.
3- Motorcycles that provide courier and/or home service.
4- Transportation linked to home public services.
5- School transportation.
6- Surveillance and private security motorcycles.
7- Vehicles with capacity for more than 10 passengers.
8- Public transport.
9- Emergency vehicles.

10- Funeral carriages.
11- Destined for traffic control.
12- Transport of values.
13- Presidential motorcade.
14- Military Vehicles, National Police, State Security Organizations and Bogotá sectional CTI.

17- Vehicles intended for operational control and maintenance of the SITP.
18- Emissions control.

1- Private cars and motorcycles.
2- Vehicles and motorcycles from driving schools.
3- Vehicles with Pico permit and solidarity license plate (replaced automatically).
4- Media vehicles with yellow plates.
5- Hybrid vehicles.
6- Vehicles dedicated to gas.
7- Taxis with beak and license plate.
