Companies in the financial sector (such as banks) may prove in their statements to the SAT the amounts of the prizes that were awarded to the winners in the draw, whether they are consumers or businesses.

Regarding the states (which are not natural or legal persons), the government will cover the taxes that each entity may have separately when collecting prizes, as it will depend on each local legislation.

“The fiscal stimulus allows financial institutions credit against Income Tax (ISR) the amounts of the prizes awarded to cardholders and winning small businesses (with income of up to $5,000,000.00 MN). Besides, the Federation will cover local taxes generated by obtaining the prizes, and the total amount of the prizes will not exceed $500,000,000.00 MN,” the government states in the Official Gazette of the Federation.

When is Buen Fin 2025?

El Buen Fin 2025 will take place from Thursday, November 13 to Monday, November 17, according to the official campaign site .

The date is not coincidental: it coincides with a long weekend holiday, since Monday, November 17, will be a mandatory day of rest when commemorating the Day of the Mexican Revolution, originally celebrated on November 20.

In the 15th edition, the program will feature Lo Hecho en México, with the aim of promoting products created by Mexican hands and strengthening domestic consumption.
