The Temporary Working Group of Havana examined this Tuesday the situation that the capital presents with the availability of fuels in service centers, and announced a group of measures to face the contingency that is currently presented.
According to a report by Canal Habana, published on its Facebook page, as has been reported in recent hours, there is a deficit in electricity generation, since the Antonio Guiteras thermoelectric plant in Matanzas left the Electric System. National, which resulted in a greater use of generator sets, which consume diesel fuel.
To guarantee its correct operation, it is necessary for specialized transport to make a greater number of trips that maintain the vitality of the generator sets, added the note from the capital channel.
For this reason, the sale of fuel in service centers has been affected, he points out and adds that for this reason the GTT has taken a group of measures aimed at guaranteeing basic transport services in the city.
In addition, he added that the Guanabo and El Arbolito Intermittent service centers (42 and 33, Playa) will provide services exclusively to rented cars (TUR). In this case, if the vehicle wishes to go to another service center where availability exists, it can do so.
