The chain was fantasy.
A mathematics teacher at the Diego Hernández de Gallegos School in the city of Barrancabermeja was murdered for stealing a chain.
The teacher identified as Jorge Pulgarín Chica, from the Santander department school, was chatting with some friends on a platform in the San Silvetsrte neighborhood.
Suddenly, two subjects on a motorcycle approach the place to steal their belongings from those present.
The grill man on the motorcycle gets off and asks for the chain that the teacher was wearing around his neck.
Pulgarín offered no resistance and handed the jewel to the offender, telling him that what was stolen was not gold but fantasy: “Take it because the chain is not gold,” he would have told the criminal.
Immediately afterwards, the thief aims at his head and shoots him in the face, leaving him lying lifeless on the pavement.
