Take a breath before finding out how much tickets cost for the New Memory Train that leaves this October 19

Next November 23, the emblematic Train of Remembrance will offer a new experience for those who wish to relive the old railway trips from Santiago to Limache, a nostalgic tour that allows you to enjoy 143 kilometers of unique landscapes aboard restored luxury cars from the 1920s, 1930s and 1950s. This trip in diesel-electric locomotive commemorates the historic Santiago-Valparaíso Railway, which was inaugurated in 1855 and connected these two cities in a revolutionary way for its time. The journey starts from Estación Central, in Santiago, and is an excellent opportunity to learn what train travel was like in Chile more than a century ago.

For those who are interested in living this experience, the tickets for the Train of Remembrance are available in a variety of prices depending on the class and type of car you choose. Seats in the lounge car cost $29,900, while first class tickets cost $35,900. Passengers who opt for the super lounge car can get their tickets for $45,900, and, finally, for those looking for maximum comfort, the dining car offers tickets for $114,000. All classes include basic services and the possibility of enjoying a snack during the journey.
