Tailhade: Conte Grand has “an unprecedented level of institutional irresponsibility”

The national deputy of the Front of All (FdT) Rodolfo Tailhade assured this Wednesday that there is a “Violation of the National Intelligence Law” in the video of the meeting of officials of the former governor María Eugenia Vidal in which the construction of cases against trade unionists is analyzed and pointed out that the “most alarming” case is that of the Buenos Aires prosecutor, Julio Conte Grand, who is handled with “an unprecedented level of institutional irresponsibility.”

“Clearly there is a violation of the National Intelligence Law in this relationship with national public powers. And the case that seems most alarming to me is that of the prosecutor, who is not only involved in all this but also has an AFI encrypted telephone number,” Tailhade told Télam in the framework of the session of the Bicameral Congressional Intelligence Subcommittee. .

The deputy targeted Conte Grand for not showing up for the Bicameral summons and accused him of having “unprecedented institutional irresponsibility.”

“Until now we have no confirmation, it gives the impression that he is not going to come. A responsible attitude of the attorney would have been to notify the Bicameral on what date he was going to attend. Until now there has been no communication from Conte Grand, it is likely that he will not come on,” he said.

“If it does not come, beyond the fact that it is an unprecedented level of institutional irresponsibility, it seems to me that the Bicameral has to present itself in the Legislature and add this fact as grounds for impeachment”he alerted.

Tailhade pointed out that there is another point to add and “it has to do with what the intelligence law says regarding provincial officials who have links with the intelligence services. There is an article in the law that specifically establishes a crime for the person who has connection with the intelligence services without any justification, being a provincial public official”.

The Congressional Intelligence Subcommittee will receive this Wednesday a former official of Banco Provincia in the investigation she is carrying out to clarify the political responsibility of the Vidal Government. This is Emilia Jaime, secretary of the then president of Banco Provincia, Juan Curuchet.

Tailhade explained that Jaime was in charge of reserving the room for the meeting where former Labor Minister Marcelo Villegas spoke about the “Gestapo” for three days: “first for Thursday and Friday, and then adding one more day.”

The deputy targeted Conte Grand for not showing up for the Bicameral summons.

“We have the emails from her requesting the reservation of the place. The questions are quite logical, they have to do with who organized the meeting and who summoned the intelligence agents, which is what interests us. The rest will be investigated by the Justice. We are linked to the investigation specifically to find out what the intelligence agents were doing at the meeting,” he said.

assured that “in the mail exchanges it says that the meeting was held at the request of the government”, and previously scheduled internal bank meetings in the “Gestapo meeting” room were suspended “by indication of the highest authority of the bank, the president.”

Tailhade noted that the meeting had “absolute priority” and did not rule out that Vidal was involved.

He confirmed that the intelligence agents of that meeting “are going to be summoned and it is possible that once they testify we can summon the politicians who participated in the meeting and then eventually reach the former governor” Vidal.

Regarding the silence of the former officials, he assured: “They are like that. In the macrismo they are specialists in speculating on what the sector of the electorate that accompanies them thinks, a large part of the 40% who voted for them in the elections are not interested in the GestapoThey are not interested if Pata Medina is persecuted by the rules of the mafia or the rule of law, and therefore they are very comfortable in that position and go out and say the nonsense they say. They know that there is a sector of society that is not going to make them pay a cost for this. Opening your mouth in these situations is taking a risk.”

He recalled that there are open “other lines of investigation that have to do with other unions”, such as the complaints by “UOCRA Bahía Blanca, the freight union, the Tandanor union, the Río Santiago Shipyard and the Juan Grabois organization”, among others.

“All linked to the participation of the AFI in the assembly of cases against them. Probably after we finish Gestapo we will start an investigation with those complaints,” he concluded.
