A 15-year-old schoolboy suffered a hit-and-run on Tuesday, March 7, on Manuel A. Odría Avenue, in the city of Tacna, when he was going to the Innova School private educational institution located in the Los Cedros urbanization about 200 meters away.

The cause was a motorcyclist who was driving at high speed, accompanied by a co-pilot. After the impact, he fled instead of helping the teenager. A helmet was found at the scene.

In the emergency service of the Hipólito Unanue hospital, the minor was diagnosed as “polyconcussion due to a traffic accident, ruling out a fracture in the right leg.”

The passers-by who witnessed the accident demanded that the Police locate and identify the motorcyclist responsible so that he can be prosecuted for the crime against life, body and health, injuries and failure to provide assistance. They recommended looking for the images from the security cameras in the area.
