Several shots ended the life of Colombian Cristian Camilo Martínez Cabadilla (33), while his compatriot José Ricardo Ramírez Vásquez was seriously injured, the latter was evacuated to the Emergency service of the Hipólito Unanue hospital and was hospitalized.
Pre-Christmas shooting
The criminal act was reported by the neighbors as a shooting after 9:00 p.m., then troops from the Gregorio Albarracín police station came, verifying the presence of two bloody people, one of them lifeless and the other was rescued by paramedics. It was also known that other foreigners were on the property and managed to get to safety.
That night the tranquility of Javier Noriega’s neighbors who were waiting for Christmas to arrive was interrupted by a series of gunshots. The attack would have been carried out by three men who entered the Mz. B, lot 18, apparently determined to kill people they knew and would have identified.
Two others miraculously survived.
The shots were directed at four men who were in the building, two of them managing to evade the projectiles and hide until the gunmen withdrew. After the arrival of the police, the wounded Ramírez Vásquez was transferred to the Unanue hospital, where it was learned that he had received four bullet wounds, a projectile to the face, and he went to the Shock Trauma area.

Homicide and Robbery Police from the Criminal Investigation Department (Depincri) went to the area for investigations; Criminalistics experts were also present, finding a total of 15 bullet casings in the surroundings.
Alleged reckoning
The representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office, magistrates Iris León Bravo and Tito Damián Mamani, participated in the preliminary proceedings in the area, as the beginning of the investigations and the collection of the body.
Preliminary investigations by the PNP indicate that the attack with a firearm was due to a settling of scores between foreigners. They learned that between 8 to 10 Colombians and Venezuelans would be living in the house who would be engaged in illegal activities, as members of a gang of “drop by drop” lenders and robberies in the form of “racketing.”
They took a large sum of money
On the outskirts of the property, linear motorcycles were found that foreigners used to get around. Inside the house there were bull-type motorcycle taxis.
During the preliminary interview that the police carried out with a tenant of the house who managed to survive the attack, he said that the criminals managed to take a large sum of money, but that it is not known where said economic capital would come from.
