Tacna: Provincial municipality and Police close three illegal canteens

In a lightning operation carried out by the Provincial Municipality of Tacna in coordination with the National Police, three premises located in passage 21, near the pet fair, were intervened, which were sanctioned with 100% of a UIT for not having municipal authorizations to function and operate as canteens camouflaged as restaurants.

The “Brisas del Sur” bar and cantina was fined 100% of a UIT for disobeying the temporary closure order and the concrete wall placed by the commune, and men and women were found inside in a completely intoxicated state. In addition, the Municipal Attorney’s Office will initiate criminal actions against its owner.

Likewise, the establishment “El Señor Caldillo” was fined 100% of a UIT for not having an operating license and appearing to be a restaurant when in reality it was a clandestine canteen.

For its part, the “Comidas al Paso Wey” establishment closed its doors, preventing the work of the council inspectors, which is why a fine equivalent to 80% of a UIT was imposed, while the “Bokita Come” cevicheria was fined 20% of a UIT for presenting toilet services in poor condition.
