District with vulnerable areas
To mitigate the vulnerability of the district, he responded that rapid action brigades have been formed with the associations in the Karamolle ravine and dikes have also been built and some walls have been worked on to reduce the force of the mudslides.
The Ciudad Nueva district is highly vulnerable because it is located on the slopes of Intiorko hill, with extremely unstable soil and in the bed of the Karamolle ravine, which is activated when there is intense rainfall during the summer months, such as in 2019 and 2020. .
