The Gastronomic Festival “Fiesta de Sabores 2025” has been taking place in the Francisco Antonio de Zela square in the Pocollay district, in its seventh edition, since last October 24, organized by the jurisdiction’s commune.
This important event seeks to promote local gastronomy, tourism and the cultural identity of the district, positioning Pocollay as one of the main gastronomic destinations in southern Peru.
Artistic and cultural activities
During the three days of celebration, visitors enjoy the participation of the best local restaurants and wine producers, who offer a varied menu of typical dishes, wines and artisanal piscos, highlighting the flavors that characterize this land.
Likewise, the festival has an artistic and cultural program that includes live music, dance, large contests, raffles, family shows, children’s shows and recreational games for girls and boys, becoming a space for integration and healthy entertainment for the population.
Economic and tourist boost
The mayor of Pocollay Hugo García Mamani highlighted the joint work with the strategic allies that support this activity. “Our management promotes the economic and tourist development of the district, promoting spaces that strengthen family unity and highlight the talent of entrepreneurs. Pocollay always welcomes all its visitors with open arms,” he said.
For this 2025 edition, more than 15,000 visitors are projected to attend.
