The Regional Government of Tacna fulfilled the delivery of coverage for the sports slab of the educational institution N°42080 Simón Bolívar of Santa Cruz de Candarave, a commitment assumed by the regional governor Luis Torres Robledo in 2024.
The third coverage of three that make up the project was delivered: IOARR “Construction of coverage in 03 secondary educational institutions at the departmental level” which together has demanded almost 4 million soles between file and execution. Of this amount, S/. 1 million 920 thousand have been allocated to improving the facilities of the sports venue.
Investment in the province
Governor Torres indicated that this will improve and promote sports among young schoolchildren, but will also be complemented with more interventions at school and in the area.
“The people are workers, the only thing they want is for us to support them with something from time to time. From here I announce that starting in December we will begin complete maintenance of the school. We are going to arrange for the requirements made by the director to be reflected in a profile and file,” he said.
Route to Candarave geysers
On the other hand, he commented “we just approved last night the profile to invest 89 million soles for Works for Taxes for the Buena Vista road to the Calientes geysers, with a track like this we must improve the school and other infrastructure,” said the authority.
The delivery took place in the town center of Santa Cruz, in a ceremony presided over by the regional governor accompanied by officials and the regional councilor for the province of Candarave, Yancarlo Acero Arias.
