On February 22, the table of the National Dialogue for Transport and Users will address issues such as soft loans, modifications to Decree 56 of 1992 and the high cost of fuel, among others, the members reported this Tuesday after their first meeting.

Carlos Ordoñez, director in charge of the ATTT, told TVN that representatives of the National Energy Secretariat and the National Customs Authority will join in the next meeting.
Another issue that concerns carriers is the issue of digital platforms, which is why they will invite interested parties to dialogue in upcoming meetings.
For its part, the Ombudsman’s Office issued a statement stating that the objective of its intervention is to mediate between the parties and prevent users from being affected by an increase in tolls and address other issues such as road safety.
