A total of 505,938 citizens have been selected as members of the table, between regulars and alternates, but only half of them who will be in charge of the development of the day to which 24,760,062 citizens have been called to elect their authorities for the next four years.

IF I AM A TABLE MEMBER, CAN I REST ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 3?
If you fulfilled the position of polling station member in the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections, on Sunday, October 2, the next day, that is, Monday, October 3, it is up to you to rest. This is established by the government, through the Supreme Decree No. 016-2022-TR the MTPEwhich decrees “compensable non-working day”.
Employers in the public and private sectors have the obligation to adopt the pertinent measures to comply with the provision published in the Legal Norms of the Diario El Peruano.

That the Peruvian State respects the right to weekly rest of all workers.
HOW DO I DO TO JUSTIFY MY REST BY BEING A MEMBER OF THE TABLE IN THE 2022 ELECTIONS?
To enjoy the benefit on October 3, you must do the following:
- Present the Certificate of Participation delivered by the National Office of Electoral Processes – ONPE.
You can deliver the document to your employer, through physical or digital support, at the time of restarting your provision of services.
WHAT OTHER DAYS CAN YOU MISS WORK DUE TO THE ELECTION?
In the case of voters, through the Supreme Decree No. 016-2022-TRthe Government established that those who are registered in electoral constituencies different from the places in which they reside, they will not work on Friday, September 30, Saturday 01, Sunday 02 and Monday, October 03, 2022so that they can go to fulfill their civic duty. These days not worked will be recoverable.
WHAT IS A COMPENSABLE NON-WORKING DAY?
A compensable non-working day means that although you will be able to rest, You must compensate for the hours left to work within 10 days, according to the agreement you reach with your boss.
- Private sector: by agreement between the employer and the worker, the way to make effective the recovery of days not worked is established; in the absence of agreement, the employer decides.
- Public sector: the entities adopt the necessary measures to guarantee the adequate provision of services of general interest, also establishing the form for the recovery of the days left to work.
